In Partnership With Flip, Paytm Brings Its Pioneering Made-in-India Soundbox to Indonesia.

Flip, one of Indonesia’s leading fintech platforms, has announced a strategic partnership with Paytm during HE Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Indonesia to introduce Paytm Soundbox to offline merchants in Indonesia through Flip Kasir. Paytm is India’s full stack merchant payments leader serving MSMEs and enterprises, a leading financial services distribution company, and the pioneer of mobile payments, QR codes and Soundbox.

Under the partnership, Flip will lead local market execution in Indonesia, while Paytm will provide its India-scaled Soundbox technology and operational learnings from serving millions of merchants. The rollout has already commenced with selected merchant partners in Jakarta.

Pioneered by Paytm in India, Soundbox gives merchants instant voice alerts when a payment is successfully received, helping reduce manual checks at the counter and building greater confidence in mobile payments.
